Welcome to the Lancashire Scouting Lodge of Allegiance

Based in Whalley, the Lancashire Scouting Lodge of Allegiance brings together people who share a love of fellowship and a commitment to supporting young people.
You don’t need to be a Scout Leader to join – whether you’ve been a Scout, supported youth work as a parent, or are a leader or instructor from another youth organisation, you’re very welcome here.
Our members come from across East and West Lancashire and range in age from 21 to the mid-80s. We have a wide variety of backgrounds, including former police officers, accountants, ex-armed forces, teachers, and many more, making for a rich and welcoming community.
We meet six times a year on Wednesdays, with two practice sessions before each meeting. Beyond meetings, we enjoy a lively social calendar that includes events for partners and families: our annual BBQ, Ladies’ Night, 70’s themed evening, and a special Burn’s Night gathering in January at the local golf club.
We also visit other Lodges regularly, including an annual trip into West Lancashire, giving our members the chance to build friendships across the area.
If you’ve ever been involved in Scouting or youth work, or simply have a passion for supporting young people, we’d love you to join us and experience the fellowship of our Lodge.

Meeting Schedule

We meet on the 4th Wednesday of the following months January, March, May, August, September and November, with August being our Installation meeting.
